3-Day/Weekend Trips

Asturias/ Cantabtia (Spring and Summer)

Located in the north of Spain, Asturias is a region filled with green, open spaces ready to be explored.  While there, we will enjoy the landscapes of the Parque Nacional Picos de Europa, allowing time for hikes and/or nature walks, according to the interest of the group.  We’ll tour the historical villa of Santillana del Mar, considered one of the most beautiful villages in the country.  Nearby are the Cuevas de Altamira, natural caves which have been declared a World Heritage Site, and  which boast prehistoric paintings.

Granada (Fall and Summer)

One of the most fascinating cities in Spain, Granada is home to the most emblematic artistic monument of Hispano-Muslim art—La Alhambra.  While in Granada, we will have time to lose ourselves in the Barrio del Albaicín and to tour the Capilla Real, home to the tomb of the Catholic Kings.  If weather permits, we will head to the coastal village of Salobreña to enjoy some time on the beach!

Included:

• All transportation to and from all destinations (train, bus, taxi, etc.)
• Hotel and breakfast. Hotels from 3-5* (tourist, superior, or luxury class)
• Tour guide for entirety of trip, with tours in English or Spanish, depending on the group
• Traveller’s Insurance
• Entrance fees to all museums, cathedrals, and other places of historical/ cultural interest
